VNDLSM – Brand Identity Design

Project Type

Brand Identity

Date

April 2023

VNDLSM is an independent clothing label with the ethos of “Representing Art.” The brand’s identity system was designed to be bold, memorable, and versatile, reflecting its expressive, rebellious spirit. The goal was to create a multi-layered logo system that works seamlessly across apparel, digital spaces, and lifestyle applications while reinforcing the brand’s cultural voice.

The identity was built around a three-part logo system, giving VNDLSM flexibility to communicate across different contexts:

Wordmark Logo
A custom-drawn logotype that spells VNDLSM. This graffiti-inspired typeface serves as the brand’s typographic signature—ideal for front prints, campaign graphics, and bold standalone usage.

Symbol Logo
A character illustration with painted cheeks in primary colors (blue, red, yellow). This acts as the brand’s symbolic mark—instantly recognizable, designed for social media, profile images, garment labels, and tags.

The Holy Crest
A combined emblem of the wordmark and symbol. This form is used for heritage pieces and brand-centric designs, such as embroidered patches on caps, pouches, or limited-edition collections.

Design Details
Typography: The VNDLSM wordmark was custom-crafted to give the brand a distinctive, graffiti-influenced edge. Supporting typefaces were chosen from Adobe Fonts for balance and clarity.

Color Palette: Primary accent colors (blue, red, yellow) highlight the brand’s commitment to creativity and raw artistic expression.

Scalability: From a small woven label to a large billboard, each logo variation was designed to retain clarity and impact across scales.

Outcome
The final identity system establishes VNDLSM as a brand that is both visually striking and conceptually strong. It allows the label to build recognition across fashion products, digital platforms, and cultural spaces, while staying true to its mission of Representing Art.
